POL-SBR-CITY: 50th Saarbrücken Old Town Festival - Police Draw Conclusion

The 50th Saarbrücken Old Town Festival attracted around 180,000 visitors and was mostly peaceful from a police perspective. There were only a few police incidents and offenses, including isolated cases of bodily harm. Legal action was taken against a visitor who attacked police officers.

POL-Nordsaarland: Schwarzer PKW erfasst Fußgängerin auf dem Parkplatz "Ringwall" bei Otzenhausen und flüchtet von der Unfallstelle. Fußgängerin wird schwer verletzt.

Am Ringwall-Parkplatz bei Otzenhausen wurde eine 28-jährige Fußgängerin von einem schwarzen PKW erfasst und schwer verletzt. Der Fahrer flüchtete unerlaubt vom Unfallort in Richtung Otzenhausen. Die Polizei sucht Zeugen, die Hinweise zum Fahrerflucht Unfall Ringwall Parkplatz geben können.

POL-Nordsaarland: Unfall mit einem E-Bike am Bostalsee. Radfahrerin verletzt.

Eine 38-jährige Radfahrerin stürzte mit ihrem E-Bike am Bostalsee aufgrund von Unachtsamkeit. Dabei zog sie sich Verletzungen an Schulter und Knie zu. Ein Rettungshubschrauber wurde zum Einsatzort nachalarmiert. Die Polizei sicherte die Unfallstelle ab.

On 04.07.2026, an accident involving a moped occurred in Heusweiler. A 31-year-old rider fell at the junction to Berschweiler Street and sustained serious injuries. After initial treatment, she was taken to the hospital.

In Völklingen, a driver was caught with over 1.1 per mille blood alcohol level. The police stopped the vehicle in a parking lot and took a blood sample from the driver. His license was then revoked, and an investigation for drunk driving was initiated.

POL-North Saarland: Motorcyclist slips on an oil trail and gets injured. Perpetrator of the oil spill sought.

A 24-year-old motorcyclist skidded on an oil slick in Nonnweiler-Otzenhausen and sustained serious injuries. Police are searching for the source of the oil spill and ask witnesses for information. The motorcycle was severely damaged, and the injured rider was taken to hospital.
