On the night from Thursday to Friday, 03.07.2026 at around 01:10 a.m., a traffic accident occurs on the street "In der Held" in Nonnweiler-Otzenhausen. A 24-year-old motorcyclist is riding on the aforementioned street and slips on an oil slick in a left curve. As a result, he loses control of his motorcycle and falls. The motorcyclist, who comes from the Lebach area, is seriously injured and taken to Lebach hospital for further treatment. The motorcycle sustains property damage in the four-digit range. The police have initiated an investigation and are seeking witnesses to the accident.
