The event took place as part of the climate protection campaign "STADTRADELN – Cycling for a Good Climate" and was once again very popular. Both experienced campers and camping novices took part in the varied weekend.
[advertisement placement="google_ads_infeed_one" align="right"]The starting signal was given on Friday afternoon with the joint setup of the tents as well as the briefing of the caravans and motorhomes. Afterwards, the first group bike tour was already on the agenda. The route took the participants all the way to Dillingen to the marina. Back at the campsite, some took the opportunity for a refreshing dip in the Nied. In the evening, the participants ended the day with grilled sausages and stick bread for the little ones.
After a hearty breakfast, the cycling enthusiasts set off on another tour on Saturday. The route led along the Nied River across the border into neighboring France. Meanwhile, dinner was being prepared for all participants.
On Sunday morning, cycling was on the agenda one last time. The guests agreed: The Saar Bike Camp was once again a complete success and should take place again next year.
