Good day,
Attached is a press release from the city of St. Ingbert with a request for publication.
Allegations against St. Ingbert Mayor Dr. Ulli Meyer have not been substantiated
The public prosecutor's office in Saarbrücken has concluded its investigations against Mayor Ulli Meyer in connection with the sale of the Bläse House. The result is clear: the extensive investigations have found no evidence of criminal behavior. The allegations raised have been refuted. Therefore, the proceedings were discontinued in accordance with Section 170, Paragraph 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure – no charges will be filed.
As part of the investigations, the entire sales process of the Bläse House was thoroughly examined. Considered, among other things, were the decisions of the responsible committees, an independent market value appraisal, the commissioning of a real estate agent, as well as a commercial law review. The public prosecutor's office concluded that there was no criminally relevant conduct.
Mayor Dr. Ulli Meyer explains:
“I am very relieved and grateful that clarity has finally been established after almost three years. The allegations made against me have not been confirmed. This decision is of great importance to me personally, but also to our city administration and the citizens. It confirms that we have acted carefully, transparently, and responsibly. Now is the right time for me to draw a line under this burdensome period and look forward. All our energy remains focused on the future tasks of our city. Therefore, I will not take any further legal steps against those who wrongly raised the allegations. I thank all the people who have placed their trust in me and supported me during this difficult time.”
