Good day,
Attached is a press release from the city of St. Ingbert with a request for publication.
Fresh regional apple juice at the St. Ingbert weekly market
On the upcoming Saturday, May 9th, visitors to the St. Ingbert weekly market can look forward to a special stall: Insa Schreiner will be offering fresh, regional apple juice from her own harvest with her children – thus laying the foundation for the revival of an old family property.
Some time ago, Insa Schreiner inherited an old orchard plot with a small hut from her late father. The property is home to numerous old apple trees that, despite their age, still bear splendid fruit. Over the years, however, the area has increasingly become abandoned, and the financial resources for maintenance, preservation, and reconstruction are currently limited.
But that is exactly what Insa Schreiner now wants to change: step by step, the old trees are to be preserved, the property revived, and a place with new life and new meaning created from it.
The apples from the old trees were processed into fresh, untreated apple juice in a professional cider mill under hygienic regulations. The juice is offered in practical 5-liter boxes at a price of 14.90 euros. Proper production is, of course, verifiable.
The proceeds from the sale flow directly back into the care and maintenance of the property and the fruit trees, the family's passion project.
