Group exhibition "Excerpts – between Form & Color" of the Art Forum at the Museum Haus Saargau
The Kunst Forum Saarlouis presents its annual group exhibition under the motto "Excerpts – between Form & Color." The vernissage will take place on Sunday, May 17, at 11:00 AM at the Museum Haus Saargau in the Wallerfang district of Gisingen. The patron of the exhibition is District Administrator Patrik Lauer.
Since 2016, alongside the permanent exhibition in the Fruchtspeicher and the presentation of the art calendar, the Museum Haus Saargau has also been hosting a group exhibition of the active members of the Kunst Forum Saarlouis. As part of this exhibition, they traditionally present a collaborative work that gives the exhibition its respective title: Under the title "Excerpts - between Form & Color," the artists this year collectively work with different materials in various styles and techniques to create new forms of expression together.
The exhibiting artists are: Mario Andruet, Ingrid Brühl, Rita Burgwinkel, Ilka Franke, Sabine Hauck, Heidi Junges, Birgit Körner, Gerhard Meyer, Maria Montnacher-Becker, Hanne Müller-Scherzinger, Heidi Rammo, Marlies Rath, Mechthild Reuter-Thielen, Margarete Weiland-Asbach, and Ulrike Rupp-Altmeyer.
The group exhibition can be viewed during the opening hours of Haus Saargau until Sunday, June 7, 2026. Haus Saargau is open Mondays to Wednesdays, Sundays and public holidays from 2 to 5 pm, as well as Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am to 12 pm. Admission is free. Visitors can use the nearby Gisingen hiking parking lot (for navigation: Gaustraße 46), about a 5-minute walk from Haus Saargau. More information about the Haus Saargau museum is available at www.rendezvous-saarlouis.de or by phone at 06837 – 91 27 62.
