This includes the helping hands of the Evangelical Church Congregation Lebach-Schmelz, the DRK Local Association Lebach, the Lions Club Lebach, the Kneipp Association Lebach, the Volunteer Fire Department Fire District Lebach, the THW Lebach, the Rotary Club Lebach-Wadern, the Maltesers of Lebach, the Children's Aid Chillán, the VdK Lebach, the Catholic Women's Community Lebach, and Monika Schwinn.
How important civic engagement is for social cohesion became clear recently in Lebach during the Pentecost flood disaster. Without the many volunteer helpers, even greater damage would have been suffered.
„It is a wonderful experience that the Historical Association is always willingly provided with pictures, documents, and memories for the calendar. Many thanks for that,“ explains Klaus Feld, the first chairman of the Historical Association.
As always, the actual calendar page is decorated with a photo, and on the back, the corresponding information can be read in detail in essays. For the contributions in the 31st edition of the Historical Calendar, some new authors were recruited. The association chairman thanks them in his foreword, as well as all those who have contributed to the success of the calendar for decades.
The calendar is printed in full four-color and costs 11 euros, unchanged. It has been published in a print run of 500 copies and is now available. The points of sale are the Dahlem bakeries, Frisör Eckert, Getränke Breidt, and Buch & Papier Anne Treib in Lebach; the Hofladen Feld and the Penth distillery in Landsweiler; and the Humpl restaurant in Eidenborn.
