Recharge strength and energy, leave the "everyday" behind and counteract digital overstimulation. Harness the healing powers of nature. Aimlessly... being in the here and now... without a goal... without a task... without pressure... nothing must be done... invited to be......
The offer:
Shinrin Yoga (Forest Bathing with Yoga)
Combining the healing insights of Japanese forest bathing (Shinrin Yoku) with the Indian tradition of breath and consciousness development.
Leave everyday life behind, give yourself a little break. Experience and feel nature, slowly and mindfully perceive its beauties. Give the mind a pause, come to yourself.
See, feel, smell, perceive and marvel. Immerse yourself in the forest and forget everything else. Take a deep breath and feel the "now": all this is found in the forest.
The forest bathing is accompanied and guided by Markus Marburger, a forest health trainer.
Yoga in the Forest
A combination of classic forest bathing with special yoga exercises. Alongside mindfulness exercises, we are accompanied by classic breathing techniques, body postures, and movement sequences of Hatha Yoga. During the exercises, we incorporate the unique atmosphere of the forest. No prior knowledge or yoga mat is required, only a large towel and a desire for nature, relaxation, and inner reflection.
For the yoga sessions, the very experienced Ayur Yoga therapist and yoga teacher BYV Cindy Weich-Lafos (www.yoga-lafos.de) was brought on board as a partner.
„Forest yoga, in harmony with yourself and nature... with soothing body movements, breathing and mindfulness, meditation and silence, we activate our self-healing powers and recharge ourselves with positive energy. I look forward to meeting you and am happy to share my experiences and knowledge with you... Cindy“
The process:
After a short mindfulness walk, there is an introduction to the topic and an overview of the schedule. Then we immerse ourselves together in the forest habitat. All activities enhance the revitalizing and relaxing effects of the forest on body, mind, and soul.
No prior knowledge is required for forest bathing; only the willingness to give up the smartphone for a while and to engage in the activities – a "yes" to yourself. That’s all there is to it.
The requirements:
• comfortable clothing adapted to the weather and appropriate for the season
• additional vest or jacket in the backpack
• sturdy, comfortable shoes, e.g. light hiking shoes
• water bottle, drink
• possibly a small snack
• a large towel
• a dose of curiosity and good mood
Each participant must be able to walk securely on forest ground due to their physical condition. The route is approximately 5 km long.
A fee of €46.50 will be charged. Minimum number of participants is 6 people.
