Dear citizens,
Every day we see the images of destruction in Ukraine. For many, the only option is to flee the conflict zone. Currently, more and more people from Ukraine are seeking refuge in our community again.
To support the war refugees during their initial time with us, I am asking you today for a monetary donation with which we can then purchase food and hygiene items for the refugees' start in our community.
Please show solidarity with those seeking protection and donate to one of the following community treasury accounts, indicating the purpose: "Donation Ukraine Aid". Every little amount helps!
(As a simplified proof for the tax office, the payment receipt, such as a bank confirmation or the bank statement, is sufficient for a donation of up to 300 euros).
We are also happy to continue accepting donations of non-perishable food and hygiene products. You are welcome to drop these off on Mondays from 3 to 5 pm at the collection point at Römerstraße 30 in Bliesransbach, or you can leave them packed in a bag or box at the town hall reception during our opening hours (on June 10, 2022, the town hall will be closed all day). The war refugees then have the opportunity to help themselves to the donations received according to their needs.
