The article offers an overlock sewing course. It covers important components, functions, and adjustment options. Participants learn how to prepare and operate the machine safely. The targeted use with different fabrics is also explained.
For beginners, the VHS also offers a taster course on Saturday, 22.10.22. The first steps on the sewing machine will be taught there. The course is aimed at those with little or no prior experience. Basic techniques and simple practical exercises will be demonstrated. This allows participants to get to know the machine in a calm atmosphere.
Both events provide an opportunity to gain confidence in using the sewing machine. At the same time, participants can gain their first experiences in creative work with fabrics. Individual questions can also be addressed during the course. The offerings are suitable for everyone who wants to try sewing or refresh existing skills.
