Leisure time in Ensdorf begins on Ascension Day, May 26th. Dear bathers! As temperatures rise, so does the swimming season.
For weeks now, repair, maintenance and cleaning work have been underway at the Ensdorf Outdoor Pool. Among other things, welding work was needed on the diving tower, window replacement at the filter building, and repairs to the sanitary facilities. The pool was cleaned, repaired (thankfully, the damages were manageable), and the seating area, inner walls, and diving pit were painted.
Currently, the maintenance of the green areas, the grading of the lawn in the kiosk area is still being worked on. The volleyball field is also being prepared. Since Monday, May 2nd, water has been flowing into the pool.
The filling process takes 14 days, after which the health department's water test and approval will take place. On Ascension Day, May 26th, the Ensdorf Pool can then be opened. The operation can return to normalcy after the last corona summers.
Visiting the pool is currently possible without access restrictions. The purchase of individual tickets and season tickets for children, adults, and families is again possible at the pool ticket office this year. The possibility of online booking remains with the town of Ensdorf in times of digitalization.
The pool team, along with Mayor Jörg Wilhelmy, hope for increased visitor numbers due to the relaxations and wish all visitors a relaxing and enjoyable time in the hope of many sunny days at the Ensdorf Pool.
