The state capital points to the events of the Saarbrücken City Library in the coming week.

Workshop and Rally in the Summer Vacation Program

The workshop "Felt Little Bags" on Tuesday, July 28, 1 p.m., at the Culture and Reading Meeting Dudweiler is offered as part of the summer vacation program. Children from the age of nine learn the art of felting and make small bags that they may then take home. For the workshop, they should bring a towel and protective clothing. Registrations in advance can be made by phone at +49 681 905-2370 or by e-mail to kultur-und-lesetreff.dudweiler@saarbruecken.de.

Also as part of the summer vacation program, the Culture and Reading Meeting Burbach invites children aged seven to ten years on Thursday, July 30, at 2:30 p.m., to a book rally. During a scavenger hunt through the shelves, riddles and tasks are solved. The correct answers lead to a treasure. Everyone who participates receives a small certificate. Prior registration is required, either by phone at +49 681 905-2465 or by e-mail to kultur-und-lesetreff.burbach@saarbruecken.de.

Participation in both events is free of charge.
