ZKE will work from July 27 in Kirchstraße and Schulstraße in Bischmisheim
The municipal Central Municipal Waste Disposal Service (ZKE) will renew the combined sewer in Kirchstraße in Bischmisheim starting Monday, July 27.
Work will be carried out in the section between the junctions with Kreuzstraße and Schulstraße. Additionally, ZKE is renovating a so-called sewer section in front of the fire station
in Schulstraße.
Kirchstraße will be partially closed on one side in the construction area. Traffic will be controlled by traffic lights. Pedestrians can pass the construction site using a pedestrian traffic light.
In Schulstraße, a one-way street regulation towards Kreuzstraße will be established for the duration of the construction work. At the level of the fire station,
Schulstraße will be partially closed on one side. Pedestrians can pass the construction area on the side of the street where no construction is taking place. The bus stop "Schinkelkirche" in Schulstraße is not affected by the closure.
Residents can access their properties in coordination with the site management. Access for emergency vehicles of the fire department and rescue service
remains guaranteed throughout the entire construction period.
The measure is expected to last until Friday, August 7, and costs around 100,000 euros. Due to weather conditions, work may be delayed.
