Discover the Little Wonders of the Underworld
The Tourist Info Homburg invites the whole family on an exciting discovery tour to the Schlossberg Caves on Wednesday, August 5th. Together with guest and cave guide Matthias Wachmann, participants will search for the little wonders of the underground world from 2:30 pm to 4 pm.

What does a single grain of sand actually look like? Does the moss in the caves really have leaves? Why do some cave walls sparkle? And what do cave spiders look like when you take a close look at their legs – or even their jaws? With extensive knowledge and vivid explanations, Matthias Wachmann takes young and old explorers on a special journey through Homburg's Buntsandstein caves. Naturally, the well-known and impressive areas will also be visited, making the tour interesting for both first-time visitors and those familiar with the attraction.
Children are welcome to bring their own flashlights and magnifying glasses to discover the hidden details of the cave world even more closely. The meeting point is at the entrance of the Schlossberg Caves. Participation costs ten euros for adults, five euros for children, and twenty euros for families, each including admission.
Those who cannot attend on August 5th can join the family tour again on October 14th. Additionally, the offer can also be requested and booked individually by groups.
