The dm Women's Run Saarlouis is entering the next round

On Friday, August 28, 2026, Saarlouis will once again be all about movement, community, and good vibes. The dm Women's Run Saarlouis is inviting women and girls for the 14th time to get active together and experience the special atmosphere of the event.

The starting signal will be given at 6:00 pm on Hohenzollernring. Mayor Carsten Quirin will officially open the run as patron and send the participants onto the six-kilometer course along the Saar old arm. Five minutes later, the walkers will start the route.

After the run, all visitors can look forward to a lively after-run party at the small market. Live music by the band Bruise and the grand award ceremony will conclude an eventful evening.
Mayor Carsten Quirin is looking forward to the event: “The dm Women's Run Saarlouis is much more than a sporting event. It brings together women of different generations, creates community, and shows how much joy movement can bring. I am very pleased that Saarlouis is once again the venue for this special event this year and wish all participants much success and above all lots of fun.”

The dm Women's Run Saarlouis has established itself in recent years as a fixed feature in the regional event calendar. The development of participant numbers underscores the ongoing success: After 1,442 starters in 2024, a new high was reached in 2025 with 1,683 participants.

Besides the sporting aspect, the communal experience is the main focus. The event is expressly aimed at women with very different sporting backgrounds – from ambitious runners to recreational athletes and beginners.
