“Clean is nicer”: ZKE informs and inspects in Altenkessel on July 23
As part of the “Clean is nicer” campaign, the environmental patrol of the municipal Central Municipal Waste Management Company (ZKE) will carry out inspections and provide information on various topics related to city cleanliness on Thursday, July 23, in Altenkessel.
At the same time, the environmental patrol draws pedestrians’ attention to “waste offenses.” These include, for example, someone throwing cigarettes on the ground, leaving dog droppings behind, or illegally dumping bulky waste in public areas. If the environmental patrol detects such administrative offenses, it will, if necessary, initiate a fine procedure.
To ensure that waste is properly disposed of while on the go, ZKE staff distribute useful materials as needed, such as small pocket ashtrays, dog waste bags, or practical garbage bags.
