SPD wants new debt again – when will Anke Rehlinger rein in the comrades in Berlin?
It's hard to believe. German government debt is a terrible burden, yet the SPD Secretary General is calling for a further suspension of the debt brake! This is not a political alarm signal – this confirms Margaret Thatcher's thesis: "What do the socialists want? Other people's money!" In this case, the money of future generations. Anyone who, after years of economic stagnation and new record debts, still relies on living on credit, has learned nothing, absolutely nothing, from the mistakes of past years!
FDP Saar appeals to Prime Minister Anke Rehlinger to contradict the federal SPD. As reportedly an influential voice within the SPD, she should use her political weight and give a clear rejection to the constant calls for ever new debt. Debt is not growth!
For the FDP, it is clear: Saarland needs an economic liberation, not a new orgy of debt.
