The city of Ottweiler advocates for the preservation of the Ostertalbahn

As an important multiplier in the Ostertal valley and the surrounding area, the city administration would like to draw attention to an ongoing online petition. The traditional railway line is currently facing closure. The goal of the petition is to urge the state of Saarland to take over the rail infrastructure from the district of St. Wendel in order to secure its future in the long term.
The Ostertalbahn is considered not only a historical cultural asset but also an important component for sustainable tourism in the region.
