Election for the Regional Assembly on 30.08.2026
From now on, the application for postal voting can be made electronically, in writing, or in person (not by phone) at the Election Office of the municipality of Quierschied. The postal voting documents should be requested early enough so that the ballots are received by the administration in time. The information leaflet attached to the postal voting documents explains the correct procedure for casting your vote.
Eligible voters have two options to participate in postal voting:
Postal voting from home
[advertisement placement="medium_rectangle" align="left"]For the electronic application of the voting certificate, it is best to use the QR code on the front of your voting notification. This has the advantage that the application is already pre-filled with your personal data. The voting notification will be sent to you automatically starting from the 30th calendar week.
Applications can also be submitted in writing by e-mail, post, or fax. Returning the documents to the municipality by Deutsche Post AG is free of charge.
Please note: Always provide your last name, first name, date of birth, and residential address (street, house number, postal code, city). The application form printed on the back of the voting notification is also best suited for this.
Postal voting on-site at the town hall
[advertisement placement="medium_rectangle" align="right"]Up to and including Friday, 28 August 2026, 6:00 p.m., it is now possible to cast your postal vote directly at the town hall. Please bring the application for the voting certificate (back of the voting notification) with you.
If you wish to collect voting documents for other eligible voters, we absolutely require a power of attorney for this. You will also find this on the back of the voting notification.
The daily opening hours of the postal voting office are:
Morning: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 08:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Afternoon: Monday and Wednesday: 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.; Thursday: 1:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
