On Monday, 20.07.2026, at around 4:45 p.m., a serious robbery occurred on Julius-Kiefer-Straße in Saarbrücken to the detriment of a 90-year-old woman. According to the current state of investigations, two unknown female persons initially knocked on the victim's apartment door and asked for money. After the senior woman denied this request, they forcibly gained entry to the apartment and pushed the 90-year-old resident down. Subsequently, they searched the apartment for cash and valuables. The two perpetrators then fled in an unknown direction. Information about the extent of the stolen goods cannot currently be provided. The senior woman was slightly injured as a result of the act. The investigations are ongoing.
The police ask witnesses who observed suspicious persons or vehicles around Julius-Kiefer-Straße on Monday, 20.07.2026, at around 4:45 p.m., or who can provide any other helpful information about the two perpetrators or their escape direction, to contact the Saarbrücken-Stadt police station (0681/9321233) or any other police station.
