So that students can start the new school year directly with their schoolbooks, the district administration, as every year, offers special appointment dates for their distribution at the schools already during the holidays. Parents can conveniently pick up the book packages on these days and clarify any questions immediately on site.

During the rental, parents must identify themselves by presenting their ID card; authorized adults also need a power of attorney and a copy of the ID card of the legal guardian.

Those who have so far failed to pay the rental fee, submit the funding notice, or apply for exemption from the rental fee at the Jobcenter should do so immediately to ensure a successful start to the new school year with the new books.

The book packages should be checked for completeness and condition directly upon pickup, as later complaints may not be considered.

Students who cannot attend the specified holiday dates with their parents will receive the books during school hours in the first week of school.

In addition to the printed schoolbooks and workbooks, digital book licenses, learning software, and the necessary mobile device including accessories are also provided as part of the statewide systematic media rental Saar (“LSMS”) through the rental.

The distribution of rental tablets for new students takes place on a separate day during school lessons. Activation of any rented digital schoolbooks on the rental tablets is done via the Online School Saarland (“OSS”).

Tuesday, August 4th, 8 am to 1 pm, Kitchen Room Ground Floor (change from previous year!)

Community School St. Ingbert-Rohrbach:

Thursday, August 6th, 7:30 am to 1 pm, Workshop, access via rear entrance FGTS
