Events of the City Library in the Coming Week
The state capital provides information about the events of the Saarbrücken City Library in the upcoming week.
“Thinking Time at 10”
“Animal, Animal – Quiz and More” is the motto of “Thinking Time at 10” on Wednesday, July 22, at 10 a.m. Adults have the opportunity to train their memory and mental fitness. Meeting point is the third floor in the Central Library. Participation in the event is free of charge, and no prior registration is required.

The City Library has once again put together a diverse summer holiday program this year.
Movement, rhythm, and lots of fun are on the agenda on Thursday, July 23, at 11 a.m. in the workshop “Hex-Hex and Let’s Dance” for children aged 7 and above with Alice De Grazia from the Bootz-Ohlmann Dance School. The workshop is a cooperative event with the Department for Children in the City (KidS).
On Friday, July 24, at 11 a.m., children aged 10 and above will learn how to program the small humanoid robot Yanny and get it to dance or tell jokes, among other things.

At the Brebach Culture and Reading Meeting on Friday, July 24, at 10 a.m., the creative workshop “Jungle Fever” takes children on an adventure through the tropical rainforest. Colorful jungle animals are introduced, and the typical sounds of this special habitat are explained. The workshop is suitable for children aged 4 to 10 years. Registrations are accepted by phone at +49 681 905-2460 or by e-mail at

Participation in the listed events is free of charge.
