Tree on Overhead Line – Saarbahn Line S1 not operating on the Upper Saar Route
A fallen tree on the Upper Saar route is causing disruptions to Saarbahn traffic.
The S1 has not been able to run between Brebach and Saargemünd since 5:15 p.m.
Saarbahn has set up a rail replacement service with three buses. The buses shuttle back and forth and stop at replacement stops close to the Saarbahn stations.
When the damage on the DB line will be repaired is currently unknown.
