The state capital will work from July 17th on Malstatter Straße and Gersweilerstraße in Alt-Saarbrücken
The state capital Saarbrücken will work from Friday, July 17th, in the area of the junction of Malstatter Straße and Gersweilerstraße in Alt-Saarbrücken.
At the height of the gas station,
the asphalt surface layer will be milled. Afterwards, new asphalt will be applied. Additionally, defective gutters will be removed.
During the work, Malstatter Straße will be completely closed in the section between the gas station and the junction with Gersweilerstraße. A detour via Goebenstraße
is signposted. Access to the gas station remains open.
In Gersweilerstraße, only the lane towards the trade fair grounds will be closed between the junction with Malstatter Straße and the adjacent car dealership.
Traffic on Gersweilerstraße will be controlled by a traffic light.
Residents are kindly asked to park their vehicles outside the construction area. Pedestrians can continue to use the sidewalks. Access is always possible for emergency and fire service vehicles.
The work is expected to be completed on Saturday, July 18th, and will cost around 16,000 euros. Due to weather conditions, the schedule may be delayed.
