On Wednesday, 15.07.2026, at around 8:45 p.m., there was a traffic incident on the L 118 coming from Jägersburg in the direction of Homburg, where an Audi station wagon overtook several vehicles ahead at excessive speed. According to current knowledge, other road users were at least partially endangered in the process.
As part of the investigations, the driver of a so far unknown BMW is being sought in particular. This vehicle had turned right from Steinbachstraße onto the L 118 ahead of the Audi and was also overtaken by the gray Audi.
The police ask the driver of the BMW as well as other witnesses who can provide information about the circumstances to contact the Homburg police by phone at 06841-1060 or by email at PI-HOM@polizei.slpol.de.
