Register now for the new date of the baseball hobby tournament on October 3rd at Ballpark Wallerfeld in St. Ingbert
After the tournament had to be canceled in June due to heat, the Devils of TV St. Ingbert Devils are now offering everyone who wants to try baseball a chance to do so on October 3rd with the proven "Hobby Tournament" format. Registrations from groups or individuals are now possible, places are limited.
Whether whole teams or individuals, whether teams from companies, other clubs, groups, or just a few friends, everyone can register for the hobby tournament by sending a message to the email address hobbyturnier@devils-igb.de. Only participants who have not played actively or at least not for a long time are allowed to take part in the tournament. Age does not matter – but since adults also play, participating children should not be too young. Generally, teams consist of approximately 7-8 people at the tournament. If groups with fewer people or individuals come, they will simply be assigned to a team with other participants.
The event starts on October 3rd with a rules introduction at 11 a.m. After that, the games begin immediately, with all teams being provided with coaches and catchers from the Devils. The tournament ends around 5 p.m. The Devils provide all the equipment, so participants only need to bring themselves and enthusiasm for baseball.
The tournament is played in a simplified form of baseball, where the balls are pitched underhand, making it easy even for beginners to hit the ball.
The baseball department of TV St. Ingbert is a recognized support club of the federal program "Integration through Sport" (German Olympic Sports Confederation).
