The State Road Construction Authority (LfS) informs:
Update: L 260 – Maintenance work between Netzbachweiher and Forsthaus Neuhaus on July 15
[advertisement placement="medium_rectangle" align="left"]The State Road Construction Authority (LfS) will carry out the previously postponed maintenance work on the L 260 between Netzbachweiher and Forsthaus Neuhaus (Saarbrücken regional association) on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
The work could not take place as planned at the beginning of July because the planned detour route via the L 127 was initially unavailable due to damage caused by a vehicle fire. This damage has now been repaired.
For the execution of the work, the L 260 between the junction of the L 127 at Netzbachweiher and the junction of the L 259 at Forsthaus Neuhaus must be completely closed. The full closure will begin around 7:00 a.m. and is expected to be lifted by approximately 2:00 p.m.
During the closure, traffic will be diverted via the L 127 and the L 259. Traffic in the opposite direction will follow the reverse detour accordingly.
The LfS expects traffic disruptions. Road users are asked to take the detour into account when planning their route and to allow for some extra travel time.
