Lebach (ots)
On the parking lot of the Rossmann market in Lebach, a traffic accident occurred on 09.07.2026 at around 1:30 PM, where the damage was caused by a child who slammed the car door against the neighboring parked vehicle. The mother was present with a total of 3 children. After the incident, she told the injured party, who was sitting in his vehicle, that no damage had occurred. He relied on this assurance and only noticed at home that there was indeed significant damage (paint damage and dent) to his vehicle. The so far unknown female driver as well as possible witnesses are therefore asked to contact the Lebach police. The vehicle of the culprit is said to have been a gray 3 Series BMW, presumably a station wagon.
