“Rohrbach comes together!” – New concept for the Alt-Rohrbach festival
From August 7 to 8, 2026, the traditional Alt-Rohrbach Festival invites you once again to celebrate together, meet old acquaintances, and enjoy convivial hours. Under this year's motto "Rohrbach comes together," the festival will take place for the first time since its premiere in 1981 at a new location around the Rohrbachhalle - thus setting a sign for community and solidarity.
About 30 Rohrbach clubs, organizations, and businesses participate in the popular village festival and provide a diverse
offer. Visitors can expect a culinary journey with Saarland specialties, tarte flambée, Turkish delicacies, spit roast, hot dogs, and many other treats. The offer is complemented by a wide selection of cocktails,
wines, long drinks, soft drinks, and non-alcoholic beverages.
The official opening takes place on Friday, August 7th, at 5 PM. The kickoff is musically accompanied by the Rohrbach Music Association.
The patron of the event is Gisbert Groh, one of the founding fathers of the Rohrbach village festival. Honorary guests include the Bundestag member Esra Limbacher as well as the former local heads. The ceremonial opening is organized by the Rohrbach shooting club with support from the St. Ingbert shooting club and the carnival society "Dann wolle ma emol." The Saarland party band "LangerMütze" provides the best atmosphere in the evening with pure party power and energetic live music.
On Saturday, the program starts at 11 a.m. with a morning pint and Weisswurst breakfast, musically accompanied by the Laabtaler Musicians. Afterwards, a children's surprise by the Kneipp Association Rohrbach awaits the youngest visitors. From 4:30 p.m., the band "Jack'n'Sepp" provides entertainment with rock and pop classics. The musical highlight of the evening is the band "RoastBeat" with rock and pop hits from the 1990s to today, starting at 8 p.m.
The organizers look forward to many guests and a festival weekend full of encounters, music, enjoyment, and good vibes – perfectly in line with the motto "Rohrbach comes together".
