"Cast off and full speed ahead" - VHS offers courses to obtain the sport boat license
Starting in August, the Biosphere Adult Education Center St. Ingbert will once again offer interesting courses for recreational captains. These are conducted in close cooperation with the Poseidon Boat Driving School (www.bootsfahrschule-poseidon.de).
Beginners can choose between the "See" (sea) or "Binnen" (rivers and lakes) sport boat license, or a combination of both. The courses each consist of a theory and a practical part. Depending on demand, courses for ship radio (UBI, SRC, LRC) and distress signaling equipment (FKN) can also be booked additionally.
Before the seminar begins, a free and non-binding information evening will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 6:30 PM, at the local administrative office Oberwürzbach, Hauptstraße 94, 1st floor.
