PM_Bundeswehr Exercise August 24, 2026 to August 28, 2026
The Airborne Brigade 1 intends to conduct parachute jump service and training on "assembly procedures as well as occupying and securing areas" with 500 soldiers, 16 wheeled and 4 tracked vehicles, and 2 aircraft (1x A400M, 1x M28) and 2 drones in Rhineland-Palatinate (area Zweibrücken) and in Saarland (area Ittersdorf, Picard, Wallerfangen, Gisingen) from 24.08.2026 to 28.08.2026. Takeoffs and landings of the A400M aircraft will take place at Saarbrücken Airfield. Takeoffs and landings of the M28 aircraft as well as the drop operation with the machine will occur at Zweibrücken Airfield.
