ZKE will be working on Kaiserstraße in Schafbrücke starting July 13
The municipal Central Municipal Waste Disposal Service (ZKE) will carry out urgent repair work on the stormwater sewer in Kaiserstraße in Schafbrücke starting Monday, July 13.
The construction site is located in the area of the pedestrian and bike path running parallel to Kaiserstraße towards Scheidt, at the height of the building with the house number 52 on Hirschbergstraße.
Kaiserstraße will be partially closed in the construction area and traffic controlled by traffic lights. The affected pedestrian and bicycle path will be completely closed from the exit of Schafbrücke or from the entrance to Scheidt. Pedestrians and cyclists will be redirected to the pedestrian and bicycle path on the opposite side.
Access is guaranteed at all times for emergency and service vehicles.
The sewer works cost around 50,000 euros and are expected to last until Friday, August 7. Due to weather conditions, they may be delayed.
