Witnesses wanted after chase with light motorcycle
On Thursday, July 9, 2026, between 1:05 a.m. and 1:25 a.m., there was a pursuit involving a light motorcycle in the Saarlouis district of Roden.
The lightweight motorcycle was traveling on Heiligenstraße in the direction of Ensdorf and evaded a police check. During the escape, the vehicle was driven at a significantly excessive speed. This resulted in multiple endangerments of other road users.
In particular, an oncoming vehicle had to move onto the sidewalk to avoid a collision.
The Saarlouis police station especially asks the driver of the oncoming vehicle as well as other witnesses who can provide information about the behavior of the light motorcycle or about the driver to contact the local police station.
