„The Terminator“ on 08/04/2026 at the Lebach City Film Studio
The City Film Studio Lebach, together with the city of Lebach, presents the event series "Culture Cinema - Best of Cinema". Classic films of the highest caliber will be shown.
On August 4th, "The Terminator" will be shown, a science fiction film by director and screenwriter James Cameron from 1984. Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as an android with human tissue, the Terminator. The highly successful auteur film is the first of 6 feature films to date, as well as a TV series.
From a bleak future, an almost indestructible killer robot, the Terminator, is sent back in time to kill Sarah. Her future son is destined to lead humanity in the war against the machines. The soldier Kyle Reese also travels back from the future to protect Sarah. Together, they try to escape the Terminator and stop him. During the chase, Sarah learns more and more about her crucial role in the future. Whether they succeed in defeating the Terminator for good and changing the future remains thrilling until the very end.
Every first Tuesday of the month, more classics are shown. In September, "The Fast and the Furious" will be screened, and in October, "Pan's Labyrinth".
