Duo Lagerfeld in Ottweiler Old Town
Stefan Lindenau (double bass/vocals) and David Joepgen (guitar/vocals) present jazz standards in their original form. They interpret songs – with lyrics translated into German, classics of German-language pop history, and original compositions. The focus is not only on the sound but especially on the stories of the songs that the duo rediscovers and tells.
A guest performance in Ottweiler is planned for Saturday, 18.07.2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at various locations in Ottweiler Old Town. The jazz interlude is organized by the public relations/economic development department of the city of Ottweiler.
With “Lagerfeld,” people associate a cosmopolitan, creative, slightly eccentric – but intelligent – style. In this manner, Duo Lagerfeld interprets and quotes their songs: “old clothes in a new guise” is the motto. Added to this is the wordplay of their own pieces, seamlessly fitting between the classics of the old and new school.
The musical offering is funded through resources from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the “Trade 2030” program.
