Ecumenical church service for the Bundesliga season opener
On the occasion of SV Elversberg's promotion to the 1st Bundesliga, the Protestant and Catholic churches invite you to a special "football church service" on Sunday, August 23rd, at 5 p.m. at the Protestant Church in Elversberg (Luisenstraße). Pastor Uwe Schmidt and parish representative Ursula Zewe-Petry welcome not only the fans of SVE but all interested parties to jointly kick off the new season. The fan clubs have been specially invited to participate in this service.
Of course, fan clothing, flags, and scarves are warmly welcomed in the church, by the way, also by other clubs.
