Guests from sister cities welcomed to the Ingobertus Festival 2026
On the occasion of the Ingobertus Festival 2026, the city of St. Ingbert was once again able to welcome guests from its partner cities. At the reception with cool drinks at the Hotel Goldener Stern, Deputy Mayor Albrecht Hauck warmly greeted the arriving representatives in the presence of the deputy local mayor Fabian Roschy: “I am especially pleased to welcome all of you today in St. Ingbert. I would like to extend a special welcome to the guests from Radebeul and Saint-Herblain, who make a long journey every year. I wish you all a wonderful time here at our Ingobertus Festival.” He made a point of greeting the visitors from Saint-Herblain in France, who have been taking part in the St. Ingbert city festival for over four decades, in their native language.
Felix Hößelbarth, authorized managing director of Weingut Hoflößnitz GmbH, as well as the Scherf couple, traveled from Radebeul. Together with Mr. Lange, the city partnership officer of the city of Radebeul, they managed the Radebeul booth at the city festival. For all involved, it was their first visit to the Ingobertusfest in St. Ingbert.
The Comité des fêtes de Saint-Herblain was also represented by eight people. The guests from France have been regularly attending the St. Ingbert city festival for more than 40 years and also participate in the carnival parade every two years – as they will again in 2027.
Wine Princess Eva I., Mayor Uwe Winter, Christine Gerlein, and Thomas Schreiner from the Seitz-Schreiner winery in Rhodt unter Rietburg attended the reception. The winery was supported by two additional people at the city festival booth. This was already the ninth participation of the Seitz-Schreiner winery at the Ingobertus Festival – so a small anniversary is coming up next year. In addition to the wine booth team, 15 cheerful Palatines traveled from Rhodt to the city festival by bus.
The reception offered a wonderful opportunity to maintain the long-standing partnership relations and to make the bond between St. Ingbert and its twin towns visible.
Albrecht Hauck, Fabian Roschy, Maria Pieter, and Andrea Segura, who are responsible for the town partnerships at the city administration, then accompanied the guests to the official opening of the city festival.
