On July 3, 2026, at around 4:15 PM, a traffic accident occurred on Bahnhofstraße in Püttlingen, in which a 62-year-old driver from Völklingen collided with a parked car. The collision pushed the parked car into another parked vehicle. All vehicles sustained property damage, and at least one car was no longer drivable. Additionally, two occupants of the accident vehicle, a 59-year-old female and a 20-year-old female, were slightly injured. There were no indications of impaired driving by the accident perpetrator.
