PM_KHVS Saarlouis: Trip to Nancy with sightseeing and the Illumination Spectacle
The District Adult Education Center (KVHS) Saarlouis is offering a trip to Nancy on Friday, August 14, 2026, including a city tour and a visit to the Spectacle Illumination at Place Stanislas. The city in the French Grand Est region captivates with its balanced historic urban architecture, its fountains and golden gates, the art form of Art Nouveau (École de Nancy), as well as culinary specialties.
After a journey of about two hours, the day begins with a guided city tour. The historic city center around Place Stanislas, Place de la Carriere, and Place d'Alliance is explored, which impresses with its perfect harmony in proportion and detail. As darkness falls, the city transforms into a unique lighting spectacle. Figures from the past dance on the façades of the grand palaces. The spirit of Stanislas Leszcynski hovers over the square. An event that is unique in our region.
The travel price is 75 euros per person, including transportation in a modern coach, full-day travel guidance, and city tour with Britta Hess.
