Saarlouis / Reimsbach / Losheim am See (ots)
On February 11, 2026, around 10:00 PM, a handbag robbery occurred at the Großer Markt in Saarlouis, committed by a so far unknown male individual. Among other items, the victim's credit card was stolen, which was used later that same evening in Losheim am See and Beckingen-Reimsbach, as well as the following day in Dillingen. The unknown male person was filmed by surveillance cameras during the act. The unknown offender is described as follows: approximately 20-30 years old, slim, dark short hair, wearing light-colored pants with a pocket on the right side, a black hooded jacket with reflective elements on the chest, hood, and back, and black Vans sneakers.
In this context, the police are looking for the driver of a silver-colored Dacia Duster, 2nd generation, model years 2018-2021. The driver may have observed the perpetrator in Losheim am See and would therefore be an important witness.
