District tour with Minister Berg in the Biosphere
This mining district tour takes participants to Gersheim. Together with Minister Petra Berg and district forester Matthias Krauser, the biodiversity of the Bliesgau will be explored.
During this, its special characteristics (location, FFH area, etc.) will be examined and tree species-rich forest landscapes in various stages of development will be seen, from seedlings to harvest-ready trees.
Another topic will be current forestry problems, such as drought damage or bark beetle infestation.
