Town Hall Carillon with Summer Repertoire

Starting Monday, July 6, the carillon in the tower of Saarbrücken City Hall will play melodies from the summer repertoire.

Also included in the program is the song of the German miners, also called the "Steigerlied," which has been an intangible cultural heritage in Germany since 2023.

Monday to Saturday, 3:15 PM

·Come, you guys’play (Summer song from Thuringia)

·That you are my dearest

·Good luck! The foreman is coming

Monday to Sunday, 7:19 PM

·Ännchen of Tharau

·Tourdion (French)

·Greensleeves

Due to the ongoing armed conflicts in the world, the carillon continues to play the following melodies once a week on Sunday afternoons at 3:15 PM for solidarity and peace:

·Ukrainian National Anthem

·European Anthem (“Ode to Joy” by Ludwig van Beethoven)

·Grant us peace graciously (Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy)
