Career reorientation: Qualification course for child day care providers after the summer holidays
The district youth welfare office is looking for child day care providers. Working as a child day care provider offers an interesting professional perspective for anyone who wants to balance career and family. It allows for independent and flexible work in the care, developmental support, and education of children. Those who enjoy working with children and want to take on responsibility will find a varied role in child day care.
A new qualification course will start after the summer holidays and is aimed at anyone who wants to qualify for a professional activity in daycare. The six-month course is offered alongside work and is conducted according to the competence-oriented qualification manual (QHB). The modules will take place full-day during the introductory week and subsequently once a week in the afternoon. After successfully completing the qualification course, receiving a positive suitability assessment from the youth welfare office, and an inspection of the care rooms, the activity can be commenced.
Those interested, especially from the Homburg and Bexbach area, can attend an informational event by the district youth welfare office on Wednesday, July 15, at 3 p.m. at Talstraße 57b in Homburg. The activity as a child day care provider, the course modalities, and the earning opportunities will be presented there.
Registration for this event is required. Contact: Nina Oster, social worker/social pedagogue (B.A.), reachable by phone at (06841) 104-8078, or by email: Nina.Oster@saarpfalz-kreis.de.
