During a public viewing event as part of the international match Germany - Ecuador on Friday, 25.06.26 between 10:00 PM and 11:50 PM at the Saalbau St. Wendel, several people climbed onto the roof of the Saalbau. From there, a person, presumably without aim, threw a stone into the crowd below. A spectator was hit in the head and suffered a laceration. The alleged perpetrator is still unknown. The police are seeking witnesses to the incident. Any information about the perpetrator can be reported to the St. Wendel Police Station.
