Traffic restrictions for the Ingobertus Festival
Due to this year's Ingobertus Festival, there will be traffic disruptions and road closures in the city center area. The city administration asks drivers for their understanding and recommends avoiding the festival area during the event by taking a wide detour.
The general festival area will be closed to traffic from Friday, July 3, 2026, at 6 a.m. The connection from Kaiserstraße to Wollbachstraße will be closed on Friday around 8:30 a.m. Starting Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 9 a.m., Vordere Hobelsstraße as well as the lower part of Blieskasteler Straße will be affected.
Additional closures will take place in advance:
The closures will be lifted again on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 10 a.m.
Residents and business owners in the affected area are asked for their understanding. The city administration requests that the posted no-parking zones and traffic regulations be observed.
