Between Friday, 26.06.2026 at 3:00 PM and Saturday, 27.06.2026 at 8:00 AM, a burglary occurred in a single-family house on St. Martinstraße in 66606 St. Wendel OT Niederlinxweiler.
The perpetrator(s) gained access to the property by prying open the basement door. Among other things, several bicycles, a PlayStation, and a safe containing 200 euros in cash were stolen. Several doors in the basement and ground floor were broken open, the rooms were ransacked, and various furnishings and windows were damaged and vandalized. The damage is currently estimated to be in the five-figure range.
