Renovation of the rainwater sewer in Brudermannstraße in Mandelbachtal-Bebelsheim takes shape Mandelbachtal, June 25, 2026 The work on the renovation of the rainwater sewer in Brudermannstraße is progressing as planned. Two pipe sections between the manholes have already been renewed using trenchless liner technology. Due to the current extreme weather conditions with high UV exposure, work will be temporarily suspended. The material used during installation must be protected from intense sunlight. As soon as weather conditions permit, the sewer renovation will resume. With the trenchless renovation, Technische Werke Mandelbachtal (TeWeMa) are renewing the approximately 200-meter-long rainwater sewer. The goal of the measure is to ensure the long-term functionality of the drainage system and better protect the Bebelsheim district from backwater and flooding during heavy rain.
