Bundeswehr exercise of the paratroopers in St. Ingbert – helicopter approach and movement of military vehicles
On Thursday, 2 July 2026, between 12:00 and 17:00, the Paratrooper Regiment 26 will conduct a military training exercise in the Oststraße area. The exercise location is the grounds of Steinwerke Gerwing.
As part of the exercise scenario, a helicopter and wheeled vehicles are used. In the process, the helicopter may fly low over the terrain.
In connection with the exercise, the use of training ammunition and pyrotechnics is to be expected during the mentioned period. Additionally, there will be increased military vehicle movement in the area.
The exercise is registered and carried out in coordination with the responsible authorities. The exercise serves the training of soldiers under realistic conditions.
