Heat-related: Adjusted opening hours of the city library this week
Due to the announced continued high temperatures, adjusted opening hours will apply until the end of the current week at the Saarbrücken City Library and the cultural and reading centers in Brebach, Burbach, Dudweiler, and Malstatt. With this, the city library aims to protect the users of its facilities.
The city library at Gustav-Regler-Platz is open today, Thursday, June 25th, until 2 PM, and tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, from 9 AM to 2 PM. On Saturday, June 27th, visitors can access the city library as usual from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The following opening hours apply to the culture and reading meetings:
·Cultural and Reading Meeting
Brebach: Friday, June 26, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
·Cultural and Reading Meeting Burbach: Thursday and Friday, June 25 and 26, from 10 AM to 1 PM
·Cultural and Reading Meeting Dudweiler: Thursday, June 25, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Friday, June 26, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
·Cultural and Reading Meeting Malstatt: Friday, June 26, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The culture and reading meetups in Brebach and Malstatt are regularly closed today, Thursday, June 25.
Automatic Renewal of Loan Periods
The return deadlines for media from the city library at Gustav-Regler-Platz and the cultural and reading meeting points, which would be due today, Thursday, June 25, tomorrow, Friday, June 26, as well as on Saturday, June 27, will be automatically extended by one week each. Users do not need to make this extension themselves.
