Press release/24.06.2026 Fairy tale festival at Dagstuhl Castle is postponed Sleeping Beauty and Co. have a heat day off: Due to the high temperatures, the large fairy tale festival planned for Sunday, June 28, at Dagstuhl Castle will be postponed. This decision was made by the Cultural Office of the City of Wadern as the organizer, in agreement with the cooperation partners—the theater associations Lockweiler and Nunkirchen, the Youth Office Wadern-Weiskirchen, and the Nature Friends Dagstuhl—because health comes first. Especially on the castle plateau and at the castle wall, the actors and visitors would be largely unprotected from extreme temperatures in direct sunlight for an extended period. New date The new date will take place after the summer holidays. As soon as the replacement date is confirmed, we will inform via the press and social media.
